Meet the Team
At the heart of Mix Magic is a powerhouse team of experienced musicians, each bringing their own unique flair, experience, and energy to the stage.
Lead Vocalist / Rhythm Guitar
Joel Rebelo
Joel Rebelo is an artist at heart and a singer by profession, based in Verna, Goa. His musical journey began in 2011, driven by a deep love and passion for music.
He is also a versatile singer with a soulful voice that flows effortlessly in Konkani, English, Hindi, and Marathi, across various genre of music. Joel bridges cultures and connects hearts through every performance.
Beyond the band, he shines as a solo artist and a charismatic Master of Ceremonies (MC), known for creating an unforgettable vibe at Goan events.
Lead Guitarist
Ansley Sebastian
Ansley Sebastian began his musical journey in 2009 and has since become the dynamic and versatile lead guitarist of Mix Magic.
Energetic and a natural showman, he lights up live performances with great solos, rhythm, and engaging stage presence.
Beyond the band, Ansley performs as a solo artist. He is also an all‑rounder behind the scenes, handling music recording, videography, and video editing, adding creative polish to Mix Magic’s content. He also had the privilege of sharing the stage with the “Nightingale of Goa” LORNA.
Keyboardist
Aaron Pereira
Aaron Pereira began his musical journey in 2007 and adds versatality and color to Mix Magic’s music. He plays songs across multiple languages such as English, Hindi, Konkani, and Punjabi.
Within the band, Aaron is the go-to ideas person. He creates fresh arrangements and clear, musical chord progressions that enhance each set and shape the overall feel.
Beyond the band, Aaron has performed with various well known artists and he also leads a trio project, focusing on tight arrangements and dynamic live sets
Bassist
Crusandio Pires
Crusandio Pires began his musical journey in 2015. He plays across genres, adapting his style to fit the music and drives the band from the low end.
Crusandio is the band’s go-to sound expert. He leads the main mixing and mastering for Mix Magic and runs our in-house Mix Magic Studio.
Beyond the stage, He has collaborated with some of Goa’s finest musicians and local artists along the way. Professionally, he also serves as a mix engineer at Ravindra Bhavan, Goa, bringing technical expertise and a keen ear to every project.
Drummer
Fazel Fernandes
Fazel Fernandes began his musical journey in 2014 and drives Mix Magic with solid time, clean dynamics, and a feel that serves the song.
Within the band, Fazel is the backbone of arrangements. He keeps transitions tight, refines tempos, and adds tasteful fills.
Beyond the band, Fazel performs in Tiatr (Goan stage shows) and Goan musical shows. He had the privilege to perform with some of Goa’s finest musicians and bands, and also had the honor of sharing the stage with the “Nightingale of Goa” LORNA under the guidance of Sir Norman Cardozo.
